Fire and Ice Hosta

The medium size mound has brilliant white centers with very dark green margins streaking toward the middle of the leaf.  A hosta with pure white centers and very dark green irregular margins.  It has funnel-shaped lavender flowers from late July into August.

Height and width:   38x55 cm (15x22 in.)

Leaf:    15x11 cm (6x4 in.)

Leaf color:    white, dark green edge

Flower:    lavender with 30" scapes 

Can be a difficult hosta to grow.  Needs special care for at least the first three years after planting. Must have good morning sun or steady filtered shade to maintain its vigor.
