High Society Hosta

High Society Hosta is a popular variety of hosta known for its unique foliage and compact size. It is a sport of the well-loved Hosta 'June', inheriting its attractive qualities while adding a distinct look. 

• Foliage: It features small, heart-shaped leaves with wide, blue margins and a creamy yellow center. As the summer progresses, the yellow center lightens to a parchment color, creating a beautiful contrast with the blue margins.
• Flowers: In late summer, it produces pale lavender, bell-shaped flowers on stalks (scapes) that reach above the foliage.
• Size: This hosta is on the smaller side, typically forming a mound that is about 8 inches tall and 15 inches wide.
• Growth habit: It has a mounding habit and is considered a slow grower, but its striking appearance makes it worth the wait.
• Hardiness: It is hardy in USDA zones 3-9.
