Hosta 'Key Lime Pie', is an amazing sport of  H. 'Squash Casserole', discovered by Minnesota's Hans Hansen. Unlike the gold leaf of the parent, H. 'Key Lime Pie' has a green leaf surrounded by a dramatic, wide, ruffled gold edge. H. 'Key Lime Pie' has the same vigor as its parent, even in less-than-ideal growing conditions, and quickly forms a 5' wide clump. In early summer, the clumps are topped with 20" scapes of light lavender flowers. This hosta is destined for stardom!
