Pretty Parasols Echinacea

Echinacea ‘Pretty Parasols’ has been a standout in our trials, offering a refreshing change from the more commonly bred, squat coneflowers. This selection from Belgium’s Jan Spruyt is believed to be an Echinacea pallida hybrid, which helps give it excellent garden longevity.

Strong, sturdy stems reach about 3 feet tall and begin blooming for us in July. Each stem is topped with elegant, open bicolor flowers—crisp white petals accented by a pink collar surrounding the orange cone. It’s a true “stop-you-in-your-tracks” kind of plant.
