Regal Splendor Hosta

The 'Regal Splendor' Hosta is a large, award-winning perennial known for its striking, upright, vase-shaped mound of frosty blue-gray leaves with irregular creamy white to pale yellow margins. It features tall spikes of lavender flowers in the summer and is popular for shade gardens.

• Foliage: The leaves are thick, pointed, and deeply corrugated, growing in an elegant vase-shaped habit. The distinctive creamy yellow or ivory margins contrast beautifully with the blue-green centers, although too much sun can bleach the blue color.
• Flowers: Tall, slender, leafless stalks (scapes) reaching 5-6 feet in height rise above the foliage in mid to late summer, bearing dainty, bell-shaped lavender flowers that attract hummingbirds and pollinators.
