It's August here in NC and the summer stress has taken it toll on hosta, Some leaves not all show the stress but the root system is great, Buying hosta now is really a investment for next spring and it's a good thing to get them planted now and give them a head start on next spring. The Sound of Music Hosta, scientifically known as Hosta 'Sound of Music', is a striking, medium-sized hosta cultivar prized for its large, corrugated, medio-variegated leaves. It features chartreuse centers that mature to creamy white, contrasted by wide, blue-green margins. This hosta grows to be 30-32 inches tall and 60-66 inches wide, making it a substantial addition to any garden. It prefers part shade to shade and blooms with near-white flowers in early summer.
