Hosta 'Zucchini Fries' is a small to medium-sized hosta with long, narrow, blue-green leaves that have heavily ruffled margins. As the leaves emerge in the spring, they have a purple blush on the back, and the petioles and flower scapes are dark red. It produces fertile purple flowers that yield red pods. It's a cross between Hosta 'Curly Fries' and Hosta 'Mr. Black'.
